Cragside: Part 1 of 2

By the lake at Cragside, near the Northumbrian town of Rothbury, with smoke rising in the distance. Cragside House and gardens was the family home of Lord Armstrong, who was a Victorian inventor and industrialist. Cragside was the first building in the world to be lit by hydroelectricity. All photo's in this series are taken by Mooncat755.

Morecambe: Happy Mount Park

Happy Mount Park at the north end of the Morecambe Promenade, is a popular venue all the year round, especially during the school holidays and at weekends.
Coat of arms on the main gates.

Water features.
The miniature railway for the kids and adult kids!!

One of the many paths. I got there early, so not too many people in the Park, but it was certainly busy by the time I left.

People were starting to arrive by this time.
Too early for an ice cream though.

Time to leave the Park. Back at the main gates.

Warkworth: Church Of St. Lawrence
